Scientists are able to do a lot of weird things to animals these days. There's the ever popular growing an ear on a mouse's back research designed to make organ harvesting a reality. Koreans went and made house-cats glow under ultraviolet light. The latest in mad scientist manipulation includes see-through goldfish developed by Japan. Researchers say there is practicality behind the creation, goldfish are easy and quick to breed in large numbers allowing for science to readily observe organ development on a bigger scale. It will only be a matter of time before genetics research like this escapes into countries with less ethical restrictions where human testing (prisoners, dissidents, etc.) is favored. I welcome my translucent, glowing, multi-organed, abomination overlords.
