Dr. Edgar Mitchell was an astronaut on the Apollo 14 space missions and holds the record for the longest moonwalk in NASA history. He is at least the second prominent astronaut to described them in a similar fashion to the short framed, large eyed creatures depicted in sci-fi and attributed them as friendly. He admits knowledge from classified intelligence reports that UFO sightings are covered up and not as kooky as people believe them to be.
